Brand identity and packaging for organic calendula balm
Patrice Mousseau founded Satya in the summer of 2013 after searching for an organic skin care product that did not use anything harmful and finding nothing. Seeing a need and an opportunity, Patrice started to create her own 100% organic skin care products.
Studio Lake was approached to give a face to this refreshing product. Satya's mission to create healthy and trustworthy products was visualized through a brand that incorporated organic shapes and bright colours. The shapes of the calendula petals came to life in a stylized modern icon that combined with a geometric sans serif typeface to create an elegant, organic and slightly feminine identity.
The whole identity comes together in the packaging where it was combined with a pattern created out of the petal icon to symbolize the fact that Satya is 100% organic. Studio Lake also created stationery, labels, posters and a shopify website to sell the products.
You can now find Satya in over 200 retailers all across Canada.
